The 4010 toll box can be used for toll collection in Norway (highways, city tolls, bridges, tunnels, and ferries), as well as for the Öresund Bridge (Sweden-Denmark) and Storebaelt Bridge (Denmark).

There is no fixed route network, but new tunnels, bridges, and route sections are financed by tolls in Norway. They are subject to tolls until the construction costs have been paid off. Some cities and towns also charge tolls (city tolls).
